Step 08 of 09

Website Testing, Review, and Launch

Before the site connects to your domain, everything gets checked: the content, the navigation, every link, the mobile layout, the page titles, the forms, and the paths a customer takes from landing to contacting you. Checked by me, then checked again by you. Then, and only then, I flip the switch.

What happens

Test Every Page, Form, Link, and Screen Size

I go through the whole site the way a picky customer would, and fix what I find. Then you do your final walkthrough on the preview and give the go-ahead. Launch itself is my job: connecting your domain, securing the site, and confirming everything works on the live address. For you, launch day is a text that says it’s up.

What You Review Before Website Launch

  • Do one last walkthrough of the preview, on your phone
  • Double-check the facts: prices, hours, phone, towns, names
  • Flag anything, however small; small is cheap to fix now
  • Say the word: launch it

Website Testing and Launch Work I Handle

  • Check every page, link, form, and layout before you ever see it
  • Fix the punch list before launch, not after
  • Connect the domain and handle the certificates and setup
  • Re-test the contact paths on the live site, after launch
What you walk away with

A Managed Website Launch Without Last-Minute Problems

01

Complete Pre-Launch Website Check

Every page, every link, every form, every screen size. If a customer can touch it, it got tested before they could.

02

Client Review and Final Approval

The site doesn’t go live until you’ve walked through it and said so. No surprises with your name on them.

03

Domain and DNS Launch Setup

The technical hand-off to your live domain is my job, done carefully. You don’t touch a setting or learn what DNS means.

04

Post-Launch Website and Form Testing

After the switch, I test the contact paths again on the real site. Launch ends when it works, not when it’s uploaded.

Why this step exists

Pre-Launch Website Testing Prevents Broken Links

Sites that skip the review launch with a typo in the phone number, a form that goes nowhere, and a menu that falls apart on an iPhone. The owner finds out from a customer, weeks later, which means other customers found out first and said nothing. Your first impression only happens once, and it happens on somebody else’s phone. That’s why I check everything before the site meets the public.

Launch Your Small Business Website with Confidence

Tell me about your business, and when launch day comes, the only surprise will be how quiet it is.
